FROM PLANT FIBER ...
Our ropes combine traditional craftsmanship with modern expertise in materials. Discover how natural and synthetic fibres work together to create high-performance products for your specific application.
Natural fibre ropes are made from renewable raw materials such as cotton, sisal, hemp, jute, manila or basalt.Â
They offer a good grip and are environmentally friendly, but are susceptible to rotting and moisture. At the same time, they possess high tensile strength, good holding power, low weight, often good moisture absorption and natural abrasion resistance.
They are used as fastenings, decorative ropes and in applications where durability, environmental compatibility and a natural appearance are required.

... TO POLYMER
Synthetic fibre ropes are made from polymers such as polyamide (nylon), polyester, polypropylene or high-performance fibres made from polyethylene and aramid. These are lighter, more tear-resistant and generally more UV-resistant than natural fibres. They offer high resistance to chafing and abrasion, good weather resistance, low water absorption, and are dimensionally stable.Â
They are used as lashing and securing ropes, industrial ropes, high-performance ropes for heavy loads and applications requiring resistance to moisture or chemicals.
